The Shard stands at 309.6 meters (1,016 feet) tall, making it the tallest building in the UK and Western Europe. It was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano and features a pyramidal shape. The building contains over 11,000 glass panels and a fox named Romeo was  living on the site during construction.
 
Its an unusually modern building to watercolour but looks beautiful in a painting.
