Hill Garden and Pergola

Built as a summer house for entertainment by Lord Lever in 1923, this is one of London’s hidden gems. The structure sits in the grounds of Lord Lever's estate in Hampstead and was terraced from spoil created by the construction of the Hampstead tube station. The Pergola is now owned by the Corporation of London and has been fully restored; it is well worth a visit.
